Green Tea Frappuccino Mix Bridal Favors

As the Matron of honor at my sister's wedding it's up to me to throw her a bridal shower. To keep things frugal I decided to do 90% of the work myself. Homemade. Now, recently I googled homemade (for one reason or another) and one of the definitions read as "crudely or simply" made. So I'm going to try and stay away from that definition of homemade.

With that goal in mind my first project is Green tea frappachino mix favor. (spelled my way to avoid trademark issues or at least that's my story)

The recipe for the favors is:
1T. Macha
1T. Sugar

BTW, a tip for the non-savvy chefs, a big "T" is tablespoon a little "t" is teaspoon. I only mention it because I didn't always know the difference. See you learn something new every day even when you weren't expecting it.

The recipe on the gift tag should read as follows:
In a blender mix 8oz of hand and half, 6 ice cubes
and 1T. Green tea Frappachino. Blend until smooth. Top with whipped cream.

Things you will need:
4.5" X 3" plastic bags from a local craft store ($3.00)
Matcha (green tea powder) from an international market ($5.00)
Granulated Sugar
1 Tablespoon for measuring

I mixed the 1T. Sugar with the 1T. Matcha into the bag and gave it a good shake.

One bag of Match made about 10 bags of mix. To give the favors a polished look I folded a piece of card stock, printed with digital stamps (designerdigitals.com) over the top of the bag, secured it with double sided sticky tape and glued on a directions label.

There. Super simple and super cheap.
